Where to find good sewing patterns?

Here's some of my favourite places for digital patterns

Digital patterns allow you to print at home in A4 or take it to Officeworks to print in A0.

The beauty of this, you can print in just the size you need, as many copies as you need!

Some patterns have less instructions or no layers for different sizes, read the descriptions and reviews carefully.

  • Where it all started...

I've been sewing on and off since I was 12, when I got my Janome sewing machine as a birthday present. From starting with PJ bottoms and little projects in textiles class at school, I've made skirts, dresses and even my debutante dress.

I am definitely a solution focussed sewer - which led to all the costumes! This, with working at a fabric store throughout high school and uni, I've collected a lot of beautiful fabrics and a life-long appreciation of what it takes to make an item.

  • Lucy macht

Lucy macht is my creative outlet for my love of sewing, dogs and colour!
It started as a reason to sew things from my fabric stash and to spark joy aside from the crazy world of teaching, and it quickly grew legs and became a whole thing!

  • Sewing Workshops

I'm excited to offer sewing workshops at Tiny Cupboard Creatives Studio in Bentleigh, VIC. With my teaching experience and love of sewing, it'll be a great time!
